Wells Fargo prepares for return to office

Next week begins the return to office for thousands of Wells Fargo employees in the Charlotte Region. The majority of employees at the Uptown, Ballantyne, and Customer Information Center locations will begin returning in waves starting on Monday, March 14. On that date, those in customer-facing roles, employees in enterprise functions and line-of-business support roles, and technology will return to a hybrid work model.

All phases of the return to office are expected to be complete over a series of weeks. More than 100,000 employees nationwide never left the workplace and served the community since the first days of the pandemic.

Wells Fargo is one of the largest employers in the Charlotte Region. While the bank is based in San Francisco, its largest employment hub in the country is here in Charlotte, with more than 27,000 employees.

Wells Fargo has actively begun community outreach to create awareness with local businesses so they are prepared for the return to the workplace. Leadership said they are excited to be able to support the local economies around their locations and want to engage to help local businesses thrive moving forward.
