Join the next class of Emerging Business Leaders

It’s that time of year again. The Charlotte Regional Business Alliance® is excited to open the application process for Class 12 of the Emerging Business Leaders (EBL) program for all CLT Alliance Investors!

What is Emerging Business Leaders?

EBL is a 7-month immersive leadership program designed for your high-potential, diverse talent. EBL serves as a valuable supplement to your company’s leadership development, engagement, and retention effort. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion are top priorities for the program. An expressed objective of EBL is to diversify the leadership pipeline in the Charlotte Region’s business community.

Who is the perfect candidate for Emerging Business Leaders?

EBL is ideal for those whose professional level falls somewhere between the mid-level and executive levels in the organization, have been identified for potential leadership promotions, an/or have recently been promoted.

We recommend individuals who meet the following qualifications:

  • Has been in the professional workforce for at least 5 years
  • Have been with your company for at least 18 months
  • Have been identified for current and future leadership opportunities

The program is especially beneficial for those who have not had exposure to similar (internal or external) leadership development programs and/or do not have a graduate-level education.  When considering candidates for EBL, we ask that you take into consideration potential participants from demographics that are underrepresented in your company’s leadership ranks, which may be related to race/ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, ability, geography and other dimensions of diversity and inclusion. That being said, everyone is diverse, because everyone has a unique story and perspective.
