Innovation meets health care: Reimagining modern health services

Northeastern University–Charlotte is hosting a thought-provoking discussion this month with experts in entrepreneurship and strategic innovation that aims to transform modern health care. Through creative approach, these leaders are reshaping health care to deliver better access and quality service. 

Health care experts from Northeastern University-Charlotte, Atrium Health, Novant Health Innovation Lab and StarMed Healthcare will share how they inspire an inventive mindset within their organizations and what actions you can take to launch cutting-edge ideas for a healthier community.

Panelists include Becky Fox, vice president and chief nursing informatics officer at Atrium Health; Paula Kranz, executive director at Novant Health Innovation Lab; Mike Vander Baan, chief strategy officer at StarMed Healthcare; and Carmen Sceppa, dean of Bouvé College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University. Caroline Hudson of the Charlotte Business Journal will moderate the discussion.

This conversation is part of an ongoing series at NU-Charlotte titled “Local Leaders. Global Impact.” The program, in its 10th year, has highlighted important topics that have a local, national, and global impact.
