German manufacturer opens US headquarters in Charlotte

German manufacturer H-T-L perma USA officially has opened its new U.S. headquarters in Southwest Charlotte. The headquarters is home to a 30,000-square-foot production and warehouse facility and 15,000-square-foot office space at Westlake Business Park. The investment of nearly $15 million into the new headquarters marks the single largest investment of the perma Group up to this point.

The grand opening ceremony celebrated a new chapter for the German-based manufacturer of single-point lubrication systems as they build upon their nearly 30-year history in Charlotte. perma’s impressive building hosts a state-of-the-art production facility and office space to best serve their customers. The company will inventory, assemble, and distribute products to their customers in all industrial segments such as the steel industry, mining industry and several renewable energy segments throughout the North and South American market. The new headquarters also facilitates perma’s worldwide commitment to achieving carbon neutrality across their entire organization.

“We will also use our facility to offer world-class training to our customers and distribution partners around Best Practice Single-Point Lubrication Solutions and general industrial maintenance practices, whereas connected product solutions and Industry 4.0 technology will play a major role for ours and our customer’s future,” Johannes Kiesel, president & CEO of perma USA, said.
