Charlotte Douglas International Airport consists of 2.2 million square feet centered around a single terminal building. This central terminal serves as the heart of the airport, connecting travelers to five concourses, A through E, serving both domestic and international flights through 124 gates.

Continued growth has made the airport’s expansion necessary. Destination CLT, a $4 billion renovation and construction campaign, will bring a number of expanded concourses, terminals, and a fourth parallel runway to CLT.
