Ashley Hedrick began her career as an intern with the Charlotte Chamber, supporting business retention efforts across the region. What started as an internship quickly evolved into a full-time role focused on helping companies grow and thrive in the Charlotte Region.
Today, Ashley serves as vice president of marketing, communications and engagement for the CLT Alliance. In this role, she leads dynamic marketing and events teams dedicated to elevating the Charlotte Region’s brand and creating meaningful engagement opportunities for investors, partners, and stakeholders—both in-market and beyond.
Under Ashley’s leadership, the events team designs and delivers the CLT Alliance’s signature experiences, combining curated content, purposeful venues, and memorable moments that connect people to opportunity. Her team continuously explores innovative ways to foster relationships and showcase the region as a premier destination for business growth, talent, and investment.
Through strategic marketing and communication initiatives, Ashley and her team amplify the Charlotte Region’s competitive advantages, strengthening brand awareness and positioning the region on a national and global stage.
Ashley is passionate about building relationships with investors and community leaders, recognizing that strong partnerships are essential to advancing the CLT Alliance’s mission and the region’s long-term success. A proud graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, she is deeply committed to the community she calls home.
Outside of work, Ashley enjoys life with her three children, who keep her energized and inspired.
She loves experimenting in the kitchen, expressing her creativity through painting, and unwinding with a great glass of Oregon Pinot Noir. She embraces every opportunity to connect, recharge, and celebrate the vibrant quality of life that makes the Charlotte Region special.
