As the voice of business, an essential part of the work done at the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance is to influence and inform economic and social policies to ensure the highest quality of life in our region. Legislative agendas, elections, and elected officials play important roles in the furtherance of those goals.
Now that early voting is underway in North and South Carolina, the CLT Alliance is providing information to allow you to make your voice heard in the process.
Information on early voting in North Carolina can be accessed here. Early voting is available from Thursday, Oct. 20 through Saturday, Nov. 5. Early voting locations are generally open Monday through Friday, from 8:00am-7:30pm, with some variations during the week and some weekend availability depending on the county. Information on early voting in South Carolina can be accessed here. The early voting period runs from Monday, October 24 through Saturday, November 5. Each day, excluding Sundays, early voting centers are open between 8:30am and 6:00pm.
On both states’ sites, voters can search for early voting locations by county and find more information about each specific location.
Early voting locations announced in Mecklenburg County
Mecklenburg County announced early voting locations and available voting times leading up to the Nov. 8 Election Day. Several of the early voting locations are in Charlotte.
Voting on Election Day
Voters choosing to vote on Election Day should confirm their polling place location. North Carolina voters can search for their Election Day polling place here. South Carolina voters can search for their Election Day polling place here. As a reminder, early voting locations are likely different than Election Day polling places, so voters should confirm their polling place location when making plans to vote.
