The CLT Alliance Emerging Business Leaders program’s opening lesson led by John Bennett, Elizabeth Rohan, and Laura Foor was like opening a book you can’t put down. The lessons?
A vibrant confluence of leadership traits resonating deeply with Grant Thornton’s core values: collaboration, leadership, excellence, agility, respect, and responsibility (CLEARR). The journey unveiled a rich tapestry of traits essential for today’s dynamic leaders. Emphasizing the importance of individuality in leadership, realizing that leadership is not a one-size-fits-all endeavor. It’s about harnessing one’s unique traits to inspire and lead effectively.
Key learnings from the Big Five Trait Report:
- Need for Stability: To what degree do you respond to stress?
- Extraversion: What is your tolerance for sensory stimulation from people/ environments?
- Originality: How open are you to new experiences/new ways of doing things.
- Accommodation: How much do you defer to others?
- Consolidation: Are you flexible or focused on pushing your goals forward?
