The “Building Bridges for Innovation: Workforce Summit” is presented by Charlotte Executive Leadership Council, Charlotte Works, City of Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, and the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance. The summit, to be held at Central Piedmont Community College’s Harris Campus on May 31, will advance discussions and strategies to support Charlotte-Mecklenburg’s workforce development needs.

As a follow-up to the successful “Workforce World Café,” this convening will bring together industry leaders, innovators, and experts who will provide insight on critical topics shaping the employment landscape today and in years to come.

The summit will be guided by breakout session tracks under four topics: Diversity and Inclusion, Employment Barriers, Social Capital and Unique Initiatives & Partnerships.

The event will also feature a keynote address by Laura Dawson Ullrich, senior regional economist, Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. Ullrich will highlight key trends impacting both job seekers and employers, with a focus on opportunities for growth and innovation in the ever-evolving landscape of workforce development.
