Vice President of Information Systems Mike Montagna has been with the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance and its legacy organization, the Charlotte Chamber, for almost 26 years. He has had a career in information technology that spans more than 30 years.
Mike’s day-to-day responsibilities focus on technical operations including the IT infrastructure, phones systems, hardware and software support, OS support, copiers and printers, cyber security, AV equipment, planning and building maintenance and security.
“The width and depth of Mike’s expertise in his position is amazing. He handles multiple projects and priorities without even blinking, and his commitment to this organization makes him an invaluable contributor,” Chief Financial Officer Joaquin Soria said. “Mike is always evaluating new technologies and tweaking existing ones, always striving to make us more cyber secure, productive, and efficient”
Mike’s skillset and passion extends far beyond IT. He has a strong background in math and physics and enjoys applying it to everything he does.
When he is not coming up with IT solutions at the CLT Alliance, Mike is tackling projects at home, and enjoys DIY challenges. Mike and his wife Hilarie also spend time camping, hiking, and kayaking with their dog Sage.
