The Charlotte Regional Business Alliance aims to be best in class in business recruitment and economic development lead generation for the 15-county, bi-state Charlotte Region.
In order to meet those lofty goals and expectations, the CLT Alliance is restructuring the Business Recruitment Team and its approach. The new structure will represent a move toward the consultancy approach of economic development. This new structure is strategically tied to executing upon our goals as a region, while injecting new roles that will diversify our service offerings and drive new forms of stakeholder engagement.
“We are surgically cultivating who we are,” Chief Business Recruitment Officer Danny Chavez said. “This structure is where I see our best opportunity to support our region as well as our goals.”
The emphasis of this restructuring is to integrate CLT Alliance economic development practices with other departments within the organization, to form a streamlined, full suite of service offerings.
“Investors and stakeholders will have new opportunities to engage with the organization and have touchpoints for each one of our business verticals,” Chavez explained.

- International Strategist
- Economic Development Associate
