The impact of Hurricane Helene on our region is unprecedented. We have created a resource list of ways to help. A Disaster Relief Fund for those affected in Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina has also been established. Donations can be made online or via these other options.

Resources

A better business environment. A higher quality of life.

We influence and inform economic and social policies to ensure the highest quality of life in our region. Our advocacy committee meets regularly to discuss key legislative action that could affect a wide spectrum of industry across our region, advocating for policies that best benefit our community priorities.

The values that guide us.

We champion economic policies that will stimulate growth and investment in the Charlotte Region, creating a positive, nationally recognized business climate.

What we advocate for

We support tax policies that improve the competitiveness of our states and a regulatory environment that is easy to navigate. By maintaining consistent pro-business and pro-region policies, we can ensure the Charlotte Region is the best place to invest and do business.

We believe in policies, partnerships, and practices that ensure an efficient and effective government that is easy to work with, responsive, invested in the right relationships, and moves with commanding knowledge of the site-selection and investment process

We know our region’s most valuable economic asset is its people. We align with investments and policies that attract, retain, educate and develop the most talented, skilled and diverse workforce.

We champion smart and sustainable investments in infrastructure — including roads, airports, transit, broadband, energy, housing, water, autonomous vehicles, rail, and grid — that foster mobility, strengthens physical and digital connectivity, bridges urban and rural communities, and encourages industry innovation
