School bond campaign momentum mounts in final push to Vote Yes

As the Nov. 7 municipal election approaches, Vote Yes for School Bonds campaign supporters are diligently engaged in targeted outreach efforts, aimed at ensuring informed participation and community involvement. Over the course of the next week, the campaign team will be monitoring early voting turnout, collaborating with stakeholders, engaging with voters at the polls, and participating in other grassroots efforts. Volunteers have been critical to the campaign and will be providing information at the polls and partaking in other events to mobilize and inform Mecklenburg County voters.

The Vote Yes for School Bonds campaign has secured support from influential groups including the Black Political Caucus, the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce, the Charlotte Observer, and the broader business community, signifying widespread backing for this important cause.

The widespread support for the Vote Yes for School Bonds campaign underscores the urgent need for improved educational facilities in Mecklenburg County. The bond aims to address this by fostering safer and more resilient learning environments, ensuring fair educational opportunities for all students in the community. With a scope covering 30 transformative projects, the initiative aims to renovate or reconstruct outdated facilities throughout the county. It represents an investment not only in our schools and students, but also in the broader community, aiming to strengthen the educational landscape within Mecklenburg County and the future workforce.

The Charlotte Regional Business Alliance is leading the Vote Yes campaign, along with the support of myriad community leaders, teachers, and families across Mecklenburg County. To learn more about the projects and learn how you can participate, visit https://voteyesforbonds.com/.
