Hey everyone – Abbey Rampy here! I am humbled and honored to continue serving our community as this year’s vice chair of the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance Young Professionals Board.
Although a Midwest gal at heart, my pursuits both personally and professionally brought me to Charlotte a few years ago and I couldn’t be happier. Trained as an interior designer with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Purdue University (Boiler Up), my approach to problem solving is led with curiosity, empathy, and endurance. As a workplace strategist at Gensler, I partner with organizations to solve complex challenges through a mix of research, strategy, analytics, and design thinking; breathing life into big ideas. The opportunity to serve both the local and regional levels as vice chair and strategist, is as rewarding as it is unique; providing me the chance to build community as a connector.
Through my involvement with the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance, I am able to develop partnerships with like-minded business professionals to build a brighter future for Charlotte; lifting up all voices. This community is one of reverence; it fosters innovation and leads with grace. It is an incubator for entrepreneurship and a lover of all people who inhabit it. There is never a shortage of opportunities to lean in and be a part of its growth; which I find to be particularly exciting! As a storyteller, it is refreshing to be a part of a city that celebrates its stories. I am just lucky I get to be one of them!
The CLT Alliance Young Professionals cultivates a young and diverse workforce as a competitive advantage for the Charlotte Region’s growing economy. CLT Alliance YP provides value to professionals, ages 21 to 39, through leadership growth and professional development, networking and relationship-building, and connection to civic engagement and community service opportunities.
