Global software company establishes new office in Uptown

CONSILIO Consulting America Inc., a global leader in SAP manufacturing and planning solutions, has announced the establishment of its new office in Uptown Charlotte. The company is expected to create 20 jobs in the region within the next 2-3 years. The Charlotte Regional Business Alliance® played a key role in supporting CONSILIO’s decision to expand to the area.

Renowned for its expertise in SAP-driven manufacturing and supply chain optimization, CONSILIO serves a wide range of industries with tailored solutions. This new location represents a strategic step to enhance service delivery for existing clients and to develop new business relationships in the United States.

The Charlotte office is initially concentrating on supporting key manufacturing and planning clients. Over the next several years, CONSILIO plans to grow its local team by hiring SAP specialists, project managers, and other professionals, enabling it to provide its full suite of consulting services. Committed to fostering strong community ties, the company is eager to collaborate with local organizations, engage in outreach initiatives, and contribute to the growth and innovation in the Charlotte area.

“Expanding to Charlotte is a significant milestone for CONSILIO, and we are excited to become part of this vibrant business hub,” Dominik Karosser, CEO of CONSILIO, said. “Charlotte stood out as the ideal choice for our expansion due to its skilled workforce, proximity to clients, and thriving business environment. The support we’ve received from local officials and the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance® has been invaluable, and we look forward to driving results for our clients while becoming a meaningful part of the community.”

Karosser, who has been with CONSILIO for 12 years and has more than two decades of experience in the SAP industry, leads the company’s growth strategy. His deep expertise underscores CONSILIO’s commitment to excellence and innovation in delivering client-centric solutions.

The CLT Alliance and the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina’s European Office met with CONSILIO at their global HQ in Munich during a 2024 visit to Germany. The CLT Alliance Select CLT team assisted the company with site selection, market analysis, and connections with key local stakeholders. Ultimately, Uptown Charlotte was chosen as the ideal location for its accessibility and potential for business growth.

“It was a privilege to work with CONSILIO as they explored Charlotte for their expansion,” Gretchen Carson, director of business recruitment at the CLT Alliance, said. “From their first visit, it was clear that Charlotte offered everything they needed— a top tier talent pool, excellent quality of life, a thriving research university, and a welcoming business environment. We are delighted to welcome CONSILIO to the region and look forward to the contributions they will bring to the local economy.”

The Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina, Charlotte Center City Partners, and UNC Charlotte were instrumental in CONSILIO’s journey to the city.
