Duke Energy’s Lynn Good, Honeywell’s Darius Adamczyk named to Business Roundtable’s board of directors

The CEOs of two Charlotte-based companies — Lynn Good at Duke Energy Corp. and Darius Adamczyk at Honeywell International Inc. — have been named to the Business Roundtable’s board of directors for 2023, the Charlotte Business Journal reports.

The national organization of leading CEOs from across the country focuses on promoting public policy that will advance a thriving U.S. economy and expand opportunity for all.

Good is in her second two-year term on the board, having been first elected in 2019. She has been chair of the Smart Regulation Committee since 2022. Good has been a member of the Business Roundtable since 2013, when she succeeded Jim Rogers at the top of Duke.

Adamczyk is in his first term on the board, where he is one of 13 at-large members on the 26-member board for 2023. He joined the Roundtable in 2017, when he took over Honeywell from predecessor David Cote.

“We look forward to working with lawmakers to advance sound policy in the year ahead,” Business Roundtable CEO Joshua Bolten said in a news release. “To help maintain a strong economy, Business Roundtable will continue to make the case that a competitive tax system, sensible regulatory environment and rules-based trade are vital to U.S. competitiveness and prosperity.”

The board is chaired by Mary Barra, CEO of General Motors.

“Led by this outstanding Board of Directors, the Roundtable is well positioned to work with Congress and the Administration to advance policies that promote a thriving economy and expanded opportunity for all Americans,” Barra said in a news release.
