Danielle McClintock joins the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance as director of economic development after more than a decade in marketing, communications, and business development.
Most recently, she led marketing and communications for the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center, where she worked to strengthen partnerships and grow Virginia’s innovation ecosystem. While there, she helped launch initiatives built to advance entrepreneurship, commercialization, and collaboration between industry and research.
That work connecting businesses, researchers, and resources shaped her belief that strong regions are built by bringing the right people together at the right time. She brings a collaborative, results-oriented approach to every partnership and is driven by creating opportunities that lead to long-term regional prosperity.
As a member of the CLT Alliance’s economic development team, Danielle supports business recruitment and strategic partnerships across the 16-county Charlotte Region, helping companies find their place in one of the country’s most dynamic economies.
A native of Christiansburg, Virginia, Danielle moved to Charlotte in 2023 and quickly came to call the Queen City home. She holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and an MBA with a concentration in economics, both from Southern New Hampshire University.
When she’s not at work, you’ll likely find Danielle spending time with her husband and two children.
