Fintech startup chooses Charlotte for new office

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Sept. 16, 2019) – Digital mortgage lender is the latest tech company to look to Charlotte for talent. 

The fintech company announced Monday it has opened an office at WeWork’s coworking space at The RailYard in South End. expects to hire 100 employees by the end of 2019, and 1,000 employees within the next five years. 

Earlier this year, Ally Financial announced a partnership with which served as the impetus for to open offices in Charlotte. This partnership combined the capabilities of Ally Home, the company’s direct to consumer mortgage business, with the digital platform of to help create an end-to-end digital origination and funding process. The new Charlotte office will serve as the home base for Ally Home and’s loan officers.
