This task force reviews issues and makes recommendations for the chamber’s annual legislative agenda. At a series of meetings, Charlotte Regional Business Alliance members and partner organizations present their organizations’ legislative priorities. In a final “voting day” meeting, committee members decide which priorities to recommend for inclusion in the Alliance’s final agenda. This final document dictates the issues the chamber will advocate on behalf of the Charlotte business community. Members include business leaders as well as lobbyists at member companies. The task force typically meets in the quarter before the North Carolina General Assembly convenes.
