Regional Roundup: It's all about Reopening

The CLT Alliance continues to meet weekly with chambers of commerce from across the 15-county region. The discussions provide an opportunity for the organizations to share ideas and programs they've implemented to deal with the daily demands of COVID-19 related issues.

This  week, the S.C. Department of Commerce provided lists of companies in the Carolinas that are available for industrial and commercial cleaning and sanitizing. Click here for the S.C. list and here for the N.C. list.

Huntersville Regional Chamber Executive Director Jill Swain shared details of a new local jobs initiative called Lake Norman Works. Visit lakenormanworks.com for more information. 

Finally, the N.C. Retail Merchants Association which represents 2,500 members and more than 25,000 store locations across North Carolina, shared the letter they sent to Governor Roy Cooper outlining their proposals for the state's reopening plans. Read it here.
