Charlotte is a city brimming with opportunities for young professionals; a place where dreams are nurtured and passions flourish in rich soil. As a native of the region, I have witnessed the city’s exponential growth firsthand, and was eager to return to Charlotte after my college graduation to work in video production and marketing.
The growth of our city makes Charlotte an exciting place to work. Meeting the evolving needs of the booming business landscape requires sharp, up to date skills, and a great deal of energy. I am grateful to be surrounded by smart, ambitious individuals who inspire me every day.
In my work as executive producer at Kim Brattain Media, my goal is to draw out and amplify the client’s voice in every project. Each client has a unique story to tell, and our job is to bring that story to life authentically and with maximum impact. Building an effective working partnership with the client is at the core of our creative process, and I find it immensely fulfilling to watch a client’s message take shape and connect with audiences.
The support of mentors and industry leaders in Charlotte has helped shape my journey, and the camaraderie of our young professional community, where collaboration and mutual growth are deeply ingrained values, is a testament to Charlotte’s welcoming nature and the abundance of opportunities here. Recently, I have not only been able to be a part of the CLT Alliance Young Professionals Board, but also a member of the Emerging Business Leaders Class 11. The number of professionals within the Charlotte Region willing to pour their knowledge into both groups has been encouraging to see, and I am excited to carry forward all that I have learned.
Thanks to our city’s united spirit and drive for excellence, Charlotte is an ideal environment in which to learn, evolve, and push the boundaries of my craft. I am grateful for the meaningful connections and lasting relationships I have formed that have already contributed to my professional growth, and I look forward to one day returning the favor as a mentor and leader.
