Margaret Seets joined the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance this summer, gaining valuable experience working alongside the advocacy team.
Having an interest in government from a young age, Margaret has worked with various campaigns and most recently interned with a public relations firm. She is enthusiastic to learn about the CLT Alliance’s work to advance business interests within government.
“Margaret has brought a tremendous energy to the team and a willingness to learn about everything we do at the CLT Alliance,” Matt Panik, vice president of government affairs, said.
“She has jumped right into helping with our newsletter and events. I look forward to seeing what is next for Margaret after her internship at the CLT Alliance.”
Margaret is a rising senior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, double majoring in Political Science and Journalism with a concentration in Public Relations, and minoring in Studio Art. Originally from Atlanta, Margaret is a Tar Heel through and through, and comes from a family of alumni from Charlotte. Beyond classwork, Margaret enjoys showing off her campus on admissions’ tours and managing the men’s lacrosse team at UNC.
Margaret loves to spend her free time pursuing one of her many hobbies, including crocheting, developing film, gardening, and the occasional game of chess. With graduation around the corner, Margaret hopes to travel before pursuing a career in government and/or public relations.
