Jordyne Dixon knows that events are more than just gatherings of people.
“To me, they are a way to celebrate, educate, or market something or someone important,” Jordyne says.
An enthusiastic event coordinator, Jordyne joined the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance in September of 2021. She helps the engagement team plan and execute CLT Alliance signature events, as well as events for Emerging Business Leaders, Young Professionals and other councils.
“We are thrilled to have Jordyne on our team,” Ashley Hedrick, director of engagement, said. “Our goal is to provide impactful programming and exceptional experiences for our investors and attendees, and Jordyne helps us achieve this every day.”
Jordyne was driven to pursue event coordination from her passion for bringing people together and turning ideas into reality. She has been working and volunteering with events for four years including weddings, tournaments, private events and photo shoots.
A recent graduate of The University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Jordyne has a bachelor’s in business administration with a concentration in organizational management. She has worked with independent event planners, an event venue, and an office in the Belk College of Business.
Jordyne loves the culture of Charlotte and all that it has to offer. In her free time, Jordyne enjoys trying out new restaurants, coffee shops, hiking, and taking part in new experiences with her sister and friends.
