The Charlotte Regional Business Alliance® is pleased to announce Jeremiah Anderson has joined the organization as the managing director of business recruitment. In his role, Jeremiah will focus on developing and executing the regional marketing and recruitment plan.
The CLT Alliance is moving to a best practice/management consultancy model of economic development for business recruitment. The team will use industry best practices and data driven models to develop our lead generation plan of work for the city of Charlotte and the 15-county, bi-state region.
Under Jeremiah’s leadership, the team will use county profiles and individualized aspirational goals to develop a comprehensive regional playbook that will inform the opportunities pursued for the region.
“Jeremiah’s economic development background working with large scale manufacturing and Fortune 500 headquarters projects will bring key expertise to our team,” Chief Business Recruitment Officer Danny Chavez said. “His multi-state experience working in economic development ecosystems will be a great asset in achieving our goals as a bi-state regional economic development organization. Jeremiah’s leadership and experience will help grow our region’s economy. We are excited to have him on the team.”
Using Jeremiah’s experience in other markets, the business recruitment team will coordinate marketing trips to regions with high concentrations of site selection consultants as an important component of their work. The CLT Alliance will be present at industry specific conferences and trade shows as well as host key decision makers in the region for familiarization tours. Each of these touchpoints creates regional brand awareness and helps us to generate leads. The team will qualify each lead, distribute information to county partners and coordinate with them to track each project through the company’s decision-making process.
Every member of the team will be responsible for 2-3 counties in our region. This creates a more profound understanding of each community for our team but also creates a singular point of contact; all of which fully support the CLT Alliance as the organization continues to march forward with implementation of this best-practice model and manifesting the goals continued recognition as a top performing regional EDO.
“I am delighted to join the CLT Alliance and begin working with our regional economic development partners,” Jeremiah said. “The Charlotte Region has seen tremendous growth and with a new regional playbook approach, I look forward to building on the strengths of this region to position us to compete on the global stage.”
